Alpine cosiness at its best! A little hidden in the forest of the Wiehengebirge, where you would hardly expect such a “Bavarian hut fun”. Comfortable, great service in dirndls or cracked leather. Hut delicacies at their best at reasonable prices. You can go by car, but preferably by bike or on foot and as a reward a nice cyclist or wheat beer ... I can do it again!

I can only advise against an event like birthday, Christmas, wanting etc. celebrate company party with a large number of persons in the Enzianhütte, is foreseen in which the other takes something or too much alcohol and ever comes to falter! That is not wanted in this "establishment" and the extremely unrelaxed boss is only busy with living out her anger at those who generate a lot of sales! Their main focus was to ensure that no objects stick out of the wall that were unbelievably inconvenient near the counter! You don't have to be surprised if something falls down here and there! That works better and can also be accommodated elsewhere! Doesn't have to be at people's shoulder height! The boss should have eaten one of the incredibly tough roulades! That would have kept her chewing the whole evening and then it wouldn't have pissed people off! I have never experienced anything like this and the boss should think about whether such a "troublemaker" is still acceptable, because the rest of the service staff were in a pretty good mood and did a good job, including the boss, who as always Was there confidently and with the necessary friendliness! All in all, it was okay except for the annoying boss and the worst roulades ever! The rest of the food was very good and satisfactory. Conclusion: I have to say very clearly that around Melle there are great opportunities to celebrate your birthday or something else! The Enzianhütte is not one of them!

Just a great, extraordinary "restaurant" / cabin. You have to know, where this big hut is or if you have the mobile phone with you;)! The hosts are super nice and the service was extremely friendly! Drinks & food bavarian, price - performance very good. Card and EC payments are unfortunately not possible up there.

Cozy rustic hut. Unfortunately, the host is not quite as friendly as he used to be. Since it can sometimes be the one after work, the jackets are simply put in front of the door. The food is always delicious and the service is super friendly too. Which makes the event with the jackets a little better.
